When women work together, they can benefit from conventional networking, which may be collaborative, but may also be one-sided in terms of information or advice.
What we prefer as a circle of GAL Friends is a form of interaction called "Netweaving." This concept emphasizes the importance of building longer-term relationships that serve mutual goals.
As in the photo above, we wish to create beautiful tapestries of relationships with each other as members, with our nonprofit colleagues, with our grant recipients, and with others in the wider community.
